JEMEZ MOUNTAINS--We drove up to the San Antonio Hot Springs on a very rough road. But the time we spent walking along the stream almost made up for it. At least the dog thought so...she was so wet by the end of the hike I thought about putting newspapers in the back of the 4Runner.

How is that road to San Antonio Springs? I was only on it once back in '98, and I remember it being NOT for the faint of heart or low clearance vehicles. But getting to the actual springs was worth the trip...and the meadows and stream stretching out into the distance were soul-warming.
Everything is exactly the same as you remember it Bill. Everything.
