NORTHEAST HEIGHTS--MaryAnn looked at me this afternoon and said, "I have been lucky enough to have always been around people who were good to me." We had been to lunch at Garduno's with a large contingent of in-laws...no, make that EX in-laws. And they cared so much for her that they made room in a busy weekend to take MaryAnn and me out to lunch. It was truly touching. Beautiful people. Mostly Texans.
