SOLID WASTE TREATMENT PLANT @ THE RIVER--Further upstream the effluent from the treatment plant enters the river. The new water, clear but with a slight green tinge, mixes with the muddy Rio Grande and gets lost almost immediately. I saw a couple of big fish here but as soon as they saw my shadow they disappeared into the dark brown parts of the river.
